ALERTS

You Won't Lose Any More Sleep Over...

week 38 ECLIPSE® v11

Let's see, I have to remember to ask L. Alexander for her updated phone number, I better make a note to have the staff do a financial with A. Coleman when he comes in next week since I'll be gone…

I know, you know to write it down so you don't lose sleep over it. Let's face it you can't remember everything and be there every minute to resolve it. Use the "Alerts", it's even better than just writing it down on a "Post It" note!

If it is a "Priority Alert" use the desktop feature - it allows everyone and anyone to address the task as soon as possible. If it is a smaller issue or only needs to be addressed the next time the patient is in, put the alert directly in the patient folder! It reveals itself every time you schedule a patient and anytime you access the patients file.

So you can see, using the tools Eclipse® has given you. is almost like having your own personal assistant. You don't have to be the only one to do it. If there are others that know what has to be done as well- let them help you do it!

goto: the Alert toolbar> for desktop alerts> click new> check currently active- choose a priority and type to categorize (for desktop alerts organize by entering the patients last, first name in the Alert information)

goto: patient folder> click the alert tab> click new> check currently active- choose a priority and type to categorize (keep it short and simple in the notes as you are limited!
